Here at SpiderDAO, we are very excited to announce the inaugural listing of our $SPDR token on the world-renowned Liquid Exchange.
This important milestone marks a huge step forward in the continuing rollout of our SpiderDAO project. The pairing of SpiderDAO with one of the world’s most comprehensive and secure trading platforms will result in much wider availability and vastly improved liquidity for our $SPDR token.
Nathan Varty, our CEO commented on the listing saying “Today’s announcement is a great leap forward for our SpiderDAO project and is indeed a very special day for all members of my team and the wider community with our first CEX listing.”
Nathan reiterated the commitment of the SpiderDAO development team to move the project forward, mentioning that all upcoming rollout commitments are “making excellent progress”. “My development team continues to work on each and every aspect of the project and are especially excited about the upcoming migration to the Polkadot Network and the launching of the Spider Marketplace”
Nathan clarified why these were such important goals, “The migration to the Polkadot Network will vastly reduce the Gas fees for any purchase and sale of the $SPDR token and transactions will be conducted in near real-time”. He continued, “Once the Spider Marketplace is launched all Spider VPN users will have the ability to commercialize their bandwidth by reselling unused VPN bandwidth back to the community”
Žiga Flis, one of our co-founders agrees and stated that “one of the primary aims of our $SPDR token will be to capture the value created within our ecosystem and our token’s value will rise in line with the increase in ecosystem usage and today's listing on the Liquid exchange is an important step forward in making it more available and highly liquid”
