SpiderDAO announces the public release of their Apple iOS App. Yes, it’s finally here!
December 10th 2021 SpiderDAO is today able to announce the official public release of our long-anticipated iOS App for Apple iPhones and iPads. It’s been a long and comprehensive challenge but we are delighted to offer our world-renowned VPN service across all Apple mobile devices.
To celebrate this event we have decided to permanently offer a full 7-day free trial to all new users. Our valued existing Spider VPN users can download and use the new iOS App with their current sign-in details.
Our iOS app also includes the ability for users to integrate with our upcoming revolutionary hardware that will enable them to monetize bandwidth and earn a passive income (more details very soon, watch this space!).
Like our current Android App, the iOS App has also been carefully crafted to make our VPN service on a mobile device as seamless and easy to use as possible. We have included items such as:
A quick-connect menu with a “favorite-heart” option right on the home screen:
A quick link to users VPN account including support tickets and help articles for guidance and a password reset function for quick recovery:
A Dark/Light mode for 24hr Use:
Upload and Download indicators to keep track of bandwidth usage:
The new Spider iOS App is another significant milestone in the SpiderDAO and Spider VPN projects and we encourage all new and existing users to give it a try.

Nathan Varty, CEO of SpiderDAO commented “After many months of dedicated hard work by our development team we are proud to finally release our iOS App to the general public. This marks a significant step forward in the development of both the SpiderVPN and SpiderDAO projects as well as a massive step forward in our roadmap. We encourage our whole community to get involved in using this wonderful App”
SpiderDAO provides a decentralized router and App-based VPN service for its users by using a dual-governance model which brings together hardware and software tools with on-chain elements. The team aims to build a new set of standards for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations to counteract the unfair distribution of voting power. Combining hardware safeguards and leveraging the Polkadot consensus mechanism, SpiderDAO establishes a whale-resistant mechanism while creating a highly scalable, interoperable and stable governance system.
